MAC Announces Largest National Basketball TV Schedule in Conference History

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the largest national basketball television schedule in conference history Friday, Oct. 26. The extensive package features coverage of 50 MAC basketball contests that will be televised nationally on linear platforms in 2018-19. The national package includes games that will be aired on ESPN2, ESPNU & CBS Sports Network (CBSSN).
 
The MAC Women's Basketball Championship First Round & Quarterfinal games will be available on ESPN3 and ESPN+, the first-ever multi-sport, direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service from The Walt Disney Company's Direct-to-Consumer and International group and ESPN, all available via the ESPN App. The MAC Women's Basketball Tournament Championship Game will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network/CBSSports.com. 

Western Michigan women's basketball will be participating in the league's school content production program with ESPN. Each institution will provide a minimum of 35 athletic events as part of the agreement, with Bronco women's basketball games will appearing exclusively on ESPN3 or ESPN+.

The Broncos' 2018-19 season gets underway a week from today, Friday, Nov. 2, hosting an exhibition game against Grace Christian. Tip-Off is scheduled for 6 p.m. at University Arena.
