KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan women's soccer team saw its seven-game home winning streak snapped, falling to Mid-American Conference rival Central Michigan, 3-2, at the WMU Soccer Complex on Friday afternoon.

WMU (10-5-0, 4-3-0 MAC) outshot CMU on the day 16-6 overall and picked up goals by Grace Labadie and Bailey Korhorn. Labadie led all Broncos with six shots, landing three on goal.

The Chippewas struck first on a corner kick in the 27th minute. CMU's leading goal scorer Lexi Pelfas finished off the corner kick by Shannon Magnan for her seventh goal if the season.

WMU quickly responded with Labadie scoring on a penalty kick to tie it up at 1-1 in the 30th minute. The goal was Labadie's fourth of the season.

Central Michigan retook the lead in the 40th minute on an unassisted goal by Natalie Belsito. Belsito fired a shot from the right side of the box and curled it into the net for her second goal of the season.

Korhorn knotted the game up at 2-2 with her fifth goal of the season in the 74th minute. Labadie served in a corner kick and Korhorn slotted it under the cross bar.

CMU fired right back, scoring just 1:05 later at 74:36 to take the lead for the third time. Chesney Wargo finished off a cross from Magnan for the game-winner.

WMU kept up the offensive pressure but didn't find an equalizer.
