KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan team held steady at No. 8 in the US College Hockey Online poll and sits at No. 9 in the USA Today/USA Magazine Poll after both were released on Monday afternoon.

The Broncos split at Omaha last weekend, defeating the Mavericks on Friday, 7-6, and falling on Saturday, 6-3.  The three points earned pushed Western Michigan (16-8-4, 9-8-1-1 NCHC) into sole possession of third place in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference. WMU has now been ranked in nation's Top 10 for four consecutive weeks and has been ranked in the last 13 polls.

The Broncos welcome No. 13/12 North Dakota on Friday and Saturday. Friday's game can be seen live on CBS Sports Network and Saturday's on NCHC.tv. Saturday is also the annual Ice Duchenne benefit game. More information can be found here. Tickets are available by calling a 1-888-4-WMUTIX and online at wmubroncos.com.
