WMU  (15-2-1) recently wrapped up its first-ever Mid-American Conference Regular Season Championship and defeated 1-0 win over Bowling Green on Sunday, finishing conference play with a perfect 5-0-0 record. The Broncos remain No. 5 in the College Soccer News poll and No. 7 in Soccer America. Western Michigan moved up to fifth in the Top Drawer Soccer poll, as well.

This is the ninth consecutive week the Broncos have been ranked after debuting in the United Soccer Coaches poll on Sept. 12, spending five of those weeks in the top 10.  WMU is currently eighth in RPI and is the top-ranked MAC team in every poll.

Western Michigan hosts the MAC Tournament on Friday and Sunday. The first match of the MAC Semifinals between Akron and SIU Edwardsville is set for an 11 a.m. kickoff. The top-seeded Broncos take on West Virginia on Friday at 2 p.m. The winners will advance to Sunday's championship game at 1 p.m. Both semifinal games can be seen live on wmubroncos.com/watch, while MAC Championship game can be streamed on ESPN3.com.
