FOUR STRAIGHT

The Broncos have won their past four games dating back to Nov. 25, sweeping both games of the UMKC Plaza Lights Classic over the host Kangaroos and Eastern Kentucky. WMU went on the road to defeat North Dakota State and downed Loyola in its last outing for its fourth straight win. This ties the second longest streak in head coach Shane Clipfell's five years, as the team had a five-game winning streak in nonconference play last season from Nov. 24 to Dec. 19.

SECOND HALF DOMINANCE
In their victories this season, the Broncos have outscored their opponents 199-150 in the second half including a 100-69 margin in the third quarter and 99-81 in the fourth quarter. WMU is 3-0 when leading at the half and 5-0 when leading after three quarters this season. Last season, the Brown & Gold finished 11-3 when leading at halftime and 15-2 when leading after three quarters.

POST UNIT
The frontcourt, also known as the "Post Unit" by the team, has been dominating this season, as Marley Hill leads the team at 16.4 points per game and Breanna Mobley is second at 13.9 per game. The two are also first and second on the team in rebounding, as Mobley leads the way with 8.7 and Hill is at 6.3. Mobley had a season-high 15 rebounds last time out against Loyola.

STAT SHEET STUFFER
Sophomore point guard Deja Wimby has done a little bit of everything for the Broncos through seven games this season. She's averaging 7.4 ppg and leads the team with 6.1 assists and 2.8 steals per game. She is also third on the team with a 6.0 per game rebounding average. She's had at least five assists in the last three games, including a career-high nine assists last time out against Loyola. Wimby is second in the MAC in steals and third in the MAC in assists.

THE MATCHUP
The Brown & Gold lead the all-time series 3-1 and have won the past three meetings with Fort Wayne. WMU is 2-0 at home against the Mastodons, including a 115-83 win on Dec. 22, 2002, a game where the Broncos scored the fifth most points in a game in school history. WMU won last season's meeting in Fort Wayne, Ind., 70-48.
