-Western won the coin toss for the first time in the 2015-16 season and deferred
-WMU recorded 52 points which is the most points recorded in a single game under Coach Fleck, and the most points since scoring 52 against UMass in 2012
-Franklin recorded his first 100-yard rushing game of the season, finishing with 161 yards on 27 carries and one touchdown, Franklin recorded his longest rush of the season on a 54-yard run down the left sideline to Murray State's 25 yard line
-Zach Terrell threw four touchdowns for the sixth time in his career and the second time this season, he finished with 355 yards on 25 completions and 30 attempts
-Darius Phillips recorded his first career pick six
-Corey Davis ties Juan Nunez for fifth in all-time touchdown receptions with 24, catching two touchdowns on six receptions for 139 yards
-Daniel Braverman recorded his third straight game with 10 receptions or more, finished with career highs in receptions with 14 and recieving yards with 167, Braverman also reeled in two touchdowns which is the fourth time of his career with two receiving touchdowns in a game
-Corey Davis and Daniel Braverman each recorded 100-yards receiving in the same game for the fourth time of their careers, Jordan White and Chaleb Ravenell recorded 100-yards receiving in the same game four times during their careers (three times in 2011 and once in 2009), White and Juan Nunez also achieved the same feat of four games with each recording 100-yards receiving in the same game, all occurred during the 2010-11 season
