KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Central Michigan completed its first baseball sweep of Western Michigan since 2010, closing out the series with a 6-2 win over the Broncos Saturday. It was the final home game for WMU seniors

The Broncos didn't have their best day defensively, committing six errors in the field, resulting in all six Chippewa runs going down as unearned. WMU starting pitcher
Chad Mayle (4-3) went 3.1 innings in the start, allowing three runs and four hits. The Broncos called on five players out of its bullpen.
Western Michigan out-hit Central Michigan 10-8. Tillman went 2-for-2 and scored for the Broncos in the third.
Hunter Prince was 3-for-4 with an RBI single with two outs in the eighth.
Adam Aldred (5-3) earned the win on the mound for CMU, yielding one run and seven hits over 5.1 innings while striking out four.
WMU concludes the regular season with a 21-28 overall, 13-14 Mid-American Conference record. Central Michigan clinched the regular season MAC title yesterday and takes a 35-20, 20-7 MAC record into the conference tournament.
Western Michigan has qualified for the MAC Tournament as well. Seeding will be determined after other games around the league conclude later today.
