Team Notes

·       Western Michigan held the ball for 35:37 minutes. The team has now won the time of possession battle in each game this season.

·       The Broncos held Matt Johnson to just 269 yards through the air. That is a season-low for the Bowling Green QB who came into the game averaging over 400 yards per game.

·       Defensively, Western Michigan forced four three-and-outs for Bowling Green. Overall the Broncos forced seven Falcon punts. Bowling Green came into the game averaging three punts per contest.

Player Notes

·       Corey Davis finished with 159 yards, giving him 100+ yards in four straight games.

·       He had 13 catches for 159 yards. His 13 catches are a new career-high.

·       Davis leads all FBS active players in career receiving yards with 3,340.

·       Davis' 3,340 yards ranks 13th all-time in MAC history.

·       Jamauri Bogan had his fourth straight game with multiple rushing touchdowns and fifth straight game with a rushing touchdown overall. He now has 11 for the season, all have come in MAC play.

·       Daniel Braverman went over 1,000 yards in the season, finishing with 5 catches for 63 yards. He now has 1,062 yards this season.

·       Andrew Haldeman made a season-long 48 yard field goal in the first quarter. He finished with two field goals and nine points for the night giving him 312 for his career, second most in Western Michigan history.

·       Darius Phillips recorded his fourth interception of the season and his first since Ohio State. His pick set up the Broncos' field goal just before half, cutting the deficit to 27-20.

·       Grant DePalma had a season-high 10 tackles along with his first sack of the season. He finished with 1.5 tackles for loss.

·       Asantay Brown had a team-high 14 tackles and a pass breakup. His 14 tackles are a career-high.

·       Ronald Zamort led the Broncos with two of the team's six pass breakups. He also had a career-best 10 tackles.
