First Quarter Notes
- Ohio won the coin toss and elected to receive
- Jarvion Franklin becomes the second freshman running back in Western Michigan history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season. Joining Robert Sanford in the WMU history books.
- Ohio's Thad Ingol was ejected for targeting.
- Jarvion Franklin rushes for his 17th touchdown of the season, the most by a WMU freshman.
Second Quarter Notes
- Franklin rushes for his 18th touchdown of the season.
- Corey Davis' 72-yard touchdown reception is the second TD reception of 70-plus yards this season.
- First interception returned for a touchdown since Doug Wiggins on Nov. 8, 2011 against Toledo.
- First blocked field goal by Western Michigan since Freddie Bishop against Central Michigan on Nov. 3, 2012.
Third Quarter Notes
- WMU's two turnovers were the most in a quarter this season.
- Corey Davis set a new career-best with 156 yards receiving.
- Jarvion Franklin moved to eighth all-time in single-season rushing yards in WMU history.
Fourth Quarter Notes
- Ohio's 66-yard touchdown pass was the second-longest touchdown given up by the Broncos this season.
- Jarvion Franklin recorded his sixth 100-yard rushing game of the season, finishing with 156 yards on 35 carries
- Corey Davis' 212 yards receiving is the first 200-plus yard receiving game by a Broncos since Jordan White recorded 256 in the Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl on Dec. 27, 2011 against Purdue.
- Franklin's 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter was his 19th of the season, tying for the WMU single-season program record
- Zach Terrell recorded his third 300-yard passing day of his career and second this season with 322 yards through the air
- The Broncos matched their entire 2013 output with seven sacks against the Bobcats; they had recorded just eight team sacks all season
