PRE-GAME

  • WMU and Eastern Michigan meeting for 49th time in series history
  • Broncos looking for first win over EMU since 2010 and first win at Rynearson Stadium since 2009
  • Today's game opens the battle for the Michigan MAC Trophy - EMU holds the trophy currently and WMU has not won it since inaugural season of 2005
  • Today's game captains are Johnnie Simon, Taylor Moton, James Kristof, Brian Fields, Travonte Boles and Mike Jones

SECOND QUARTER

  • Ronald Zamort's 16th pass break up of the season ties him with Londen Fryar (2007) for the second most in program history
  • Kendrick Roberts with longest career reception of career (59 yards) to give WMU first and goal at EMU six-yard line; second longest play from scrimmage this season
  • Andrew Haldeman with second multi-FG game of the season (at Toledo) with second make of the day
  • Haldeman makes three FGs in a game for third time in career to give WMU 16-14 lead at the half
  • WMU holds halftime lead for first time this season

THIRD QUARTER

  • EMU scores on a seven-play, 8-yard drive - all running plays
  • EMU has scored first in each of the first three quarters
  • Corey Davis is now record holder for receiving yds by a freshmen with 859, besting mark of 792 set last season by Jaime Wilson
  • Davis' 70-yd TD catch and run is second longest play from scrimmage this season for WMU and second scoring play of 70 or more yards
  • Jon Henry with first forced fumble of the season and Mikhail Dubose with second fumble recovery of season for WMU's second take away of the game
  • Andrew Haldeman's four FGs are tied for second most in a game in program history (last - Nate Meyer at Virginia, 2005)

FOURTH QUARTER

  • Corey Davis over 100 yards receiving for the fifth time this season, setting a new WMU freshman record
  • Zach Terrell with first career 300-yard passing game (first for WMU since Alex Carder had 328 against EMU in 2012)
  • Kendrick Roberts over 100 yards receiving in a game for first time in career
  • First game WMU has two 100-yard receivers in a game since Nov. 16, 2011 at Miami (Jordan White-106, Chleb Ravenell-110)
  • Only Mike Prindle (seven FGs against Marshall, 1984) has more FGs in a game in program history than Haldeman who has five today
  • EMU is second team to successfully score a two-point conversion against WMU this season (Kent State, Sept. 28, 2013)
  • Going to OT for first time since Oct. 13, 2012

OVERTIME

  • WMU is 4-4 all-time in OT; last played EMU in OT on 10/9/1999 (W, 40-37)
  • Broncos fall in OT on four-yard Ryan Brumfield run
