On tonight's play….

I thought we played a smart game tonight. I thought our puck possession got a lot better as the game went on.  You know they have a hard-working team and have been preparing for this series for two weeks. They got some of their gunners back that had been out of their lineups and they played a good lineup tonight. But right now it is only about tomorrow.

On Hafner's play

I thought he was solid. I thought the defenseman did a good job in front of him and did a good job of keeping those second and third rebound chances away from him.

On Kovacs' play so far this season…

A real nice play by Chase and Kovi, I'm happy for him. He has been through some tough times here. I said 'Kovi are you enjoying life right now? Because you know what the other side is like.' He's enjoying life right now and now it's a challenge for him to stay like this on a daily basis and it is something he has to do.

Junior Forward Justin Kovacs

On his fourth goal of the season so far…

I feel really good out there. It probably comes from the good summer we had as a team. Playing with some good players like Josh and Chase and Shane when we switch it up.

On “loving life”…

I feel a lot better this year than I have in the past, off the ice and when I'm on there. It definitely relieves the pressure and the stress.

On Hafner's play

He looks real good. It's good to know we have two really good goalies that we can put in the net for us. If he can keep it going we can have a pretty good tandem.
