LAST GAME RECAP

The Broncos stepped out of conference for a doubleheader at IPFW and lost a pair, 4-3 and 5-2 this past Tuesday afternoon.  WMU jumped out 2-0 in the top of the first when Tara Buchanan belted her 16th career home run over the center field wall, scoring Diana Patterson who reached on a single to left field.  Buchanan's eighth home run of the season matches her career high set in 2011 and is two away from matching Lexi Jager's single-season record.  Patterson led all Broncos at the plate, going 4-for-7 (.571).  Buchanan went 4-for-8 (.500) with a pair of runs scored and three RBIs.
