• Sixth all-time meeting between Western Michigan and Buffalo, WMU enters game with 5-0 record against Bulls, 2-0 on the road
• WMU enters game 3-0 against Buffalo under head coach Bill Cubit
• Last two games between WMU and UB have been decided in overtime (2008 & 2009)

• First career TD reception for redshirt freshman WR Kendrick Roberts
• Broncos take first lead of the game, 21-17, at 12:30 in quarter
Travonte Boles' sack give him 2.5 on the year and four for career

Fourth Quarter:
Andrew Haldeman's field goal was his seventh career

Post Game:
• Collins finishes with six receptions for 122 yards (both career highs); previous career high was three receptions at Toledo and 50 yards receiving at Central Michigan; also ties career-high with 28-yard reception
• Monette with TD reception for third straight-game, and with multiple TD receptions for second time in last three games
• UB' Cortney Lester becomes first Bull to record multiple interceptions in a game (2) since Aug. 28, 2008
• First Bronco loss in six all-time meetings against Buffalo, and first in four match-ups under head coach Bill Cubit
