Pre-Game

-WMU leads the all-time series against NIU 23-14.

-WMU is looking to avoid three-straight losses for the first time since 2007.

-The 9-yard touchdown run was Van Tubbergen second rushing touchdown of the year

-Second straight game Van Tubbergen has thrown for 300 yards.

-Van Tubbergen has a career-high 31 completions (career-high) and 333 yards (ties a career-high).

-NIU wins 48-34.

Post-Game

-WMU heads to Central Michigan next weekend at 1 p.m. WMU is now 3-6, 1-4 MAC and NIU is 8-1,5-0 MAC.

-WMU has lost three straight games for the first time since 2007.

-Dareyon Chance had 23 attempts for 97 yards and one touchdown.

-WMU out gained NIU in total yards 489 (WMU) 453 (NIU).

-WMU is 2-3 when leading in total yards.

-WMU is now 3-2 at home this season and 16-16 in October games under Coach Cubit
