  • PAT block by Paul Moersch at 13:14 of first quarter was returned 92 yards (unofficially) for two-point conversion. It was the first point after attempt returned for a score in Western Michigan history - Ismail also finished with a career high 15 total tackles (11 solo)
  • Kennard Banks recorded first career interception at 8:14 of first quarter
  • Joe Gardner scores first career touchdown on eigh-yard pass from Cubit at 14:54 of the second quarter
