-- With 117 combined points, this is the highest scoring game in the 32-game history of the series (previous high: 66 points

Ball State 35-31 11/24/01)

-- This is the first overtime game ever played at Western Michigan

-- At five overtimes this is the longest NCAA Division I-A game of the season, the longest overtime game in MAC history and the longest overtime game ever for both WMU and BSU

-- Greg Jennings 11 catches give him 201 for his career (only the second Bronco to exceed 200 catches-Steve Neal) and his 244 yards gives him 3,015 in his career (only the second Bronco to exceed 3,000 career yards-Steve Neal)

-- Greg Jennings increased his school record to 34 career touchdown receptions and set a new school record with four TD receptions in one game

-- Greg Jennings increased his streak of games with at least one reception to 29 straight

-- Greg Jennings had the second 200-yard receiving game and 14th 100-yard game of his career

-- Tim Hiller became the fifth player to ever throw for 5 TD in a game-tied for second all-time

-- Louis Delmas blocked PAT return for a touchdown is the second this season and the second in program history for the Broncos (Ameer Ismail vs. Temple)

-- Ball State has won four of the last five meetings in the series and is now 12-4 all-time at WMU

-- Head coach Brady Hoke was an assistant coach in charge of the defensive line and special teams at Western Michigan from 1984-86

-- Dante Love scored his first two career touchdowns

-- RB Larry Bostic's three-yard TD run in the second quarter was Ball State's first rushing touchdown of the season

-- This is Bostic's first career three touchdown game

-- B.J. Hill had his first career 100-yard rushing game
