Becky Bartosz was hired as the Assistant Director of Facilities prior to the 2011-12 school year after serving as a graduate assistant with the facilities office the previous two years. A former student-athlete, Bartosz also served as a volunteer student assistant coach with the Bronco softball program in 2009.
A standout on the Bronco softball team from 2005-08, Bartosz ended her playing career having started every game she appeared in, totaling 176.
She was the Bronco catcher from day one (2005-08), amassing 10 career home
runs to finish her stint in the Brown & Gold third on the all-time list.
The Gladstone, Mich., native had a break out season in 2007, setting personal bests
in batting average (.284) and on-base percentage. She followed a First Team All-
Mid-American Conference effort in 2008, setting personal single-season marks in
home runs (5), runs (16), RBIs (17) and slugging percentage (.465).
Bartosz’s first team nod was the second All-MAC honor of her career, having earned
second team during her sophomore season of 2006.
Bartosz earned her undergraduate degree in exercise science from Western Michigan in 2008 and completed her master's degree in sports management at WMU in 2011.
