Nathan Larson joined the Western Michigan cross country and track and field program as an assistant coach in July of 2026.
Prior to his time in Kalamazoo, Larson spent six years at Michigan State. He competed as a student-athlete for five and a half seasons and served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Spartans during the 2026 indoor and outdoor track seasons.
The Dexter, Mich. native was a standout in the classroom, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar recognition. Larson earned his master's degree in sport coaching, leadership and administration back in May.
