Kyle Hoke

Kyle Hoke joined the WMU football staff in 2012, coming from his alma mater of Ball State. Hoke will assist with the defensive side of the ball.

The Sugarland, Texas, native played four years as a safety at Ball State (2008-11). Hoke saw action in all 14 of the Cardinals’ games during their 2008 run to the Mid-American Conference Championship Game and the GMAC Bowl.

Hoke’s father, Jon, played in the NFL for the Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs in the 1980’s. He is currently the defensive backs coach for the Bears. Hoke is also the nephew of Michigan head coach Brady Hoke.
