Kendall Turner

Kendall Turner joined the Broncos as an assistant coach in August of 2025.

Prior to joining Western Michigan, Turner spent a year as an assistant coach with the Old Dominion Women's Golf team following a five year playing career at James Madison University. While playing for the Dukes, Turner broke multiple program records including the single season scoring average (71.93), career rounds played (144), single season par-3 scoring (3.05), single season par-4 scoring (4.09), single season par-5 scoring (4.68) and the career records for birdies (375) and eagles (8). 

Along with breaking records, Turner was named the 2021 Costal Athletic Association Player of the Year, First Team All-CAA (2021), Second Team All-CAA (2022), First Team All-Sun Belt (2023,2024) and Second Team VaSID All-State (2020, 2021). Turner was the first JMU golfer to earn back-to-back at-large NCAA Tournament bids after being selected in both 2023 and 2024. She was also named the James Madison Athletic Director Scholar Athlete in the spring of 2024.

Turner graduated from JMU with her undergraduate degree in Cyber Intelligence in 2024 and with her masters in mathematics from Old Dominion in 2025. Turner originally hails from Chesapeake, Va. while currently residing in Kalamazoo.Â
