Andrew Wodrich

Andrew Wodrich is in his first season as assistant coach and his second with the Bronco women's basketball team, after serving as the program's director of operations during the 2010-11 season. Wodrich will work with the Bronco guards and perimeter players.

As director of operations, Wodrich was responsible for film exchange, video breakdown, helping plan team travel and manager supervision, while also assisting in other areas of the program.

Wodrich comes to WMU after spending six seasons working with the Midwest Basketball Academy in Mishawaka, Ind., including the last three as the Vice President and Director of the Indiana Elite Girl’s Basketball Program.

With the Midwest Academy, Wodrich effectively managed a nationally known Elite Basketball Operation and coached teams to a 2008 state championship and runner-up finishes in 2007 and 2009. Additionally, he coached 10 student-athletes that went on to play Division I basketball.

Working with both high school and AAU coaches, Wodrich spearheaded recruiting efforts for U9 to U16 teams in his region. He also organized practice schedules and venues, and coordinated team travel.

Wodrich has been a guest speaker and camp counselor at Central Michigan basketball camps and a camp director at the Mishawaka summer basketball camp.

Wodrich earned a bachelor of arts in physical education from Bethel College in 2007. He played two seasons for the Pilots’ men’s basketball team from 2004-06. Wodrich is currently pursuing a masters degree in coaching performance from Western Michigan.
