Pat Tracy

Patrick Tracy was named assistant coach prior to the start of the 2016 indoor season.

His throws group saw a big improvement during the 2018 season, culminating with Audrey Oswalt taking second in the javelin throw at the 2018 Outdoor Mid-American Conference Championships and earning Second Team All-MAC honors. Oswalt also went on to compete at the at NCAA East Preliminary Championships. 

Tracy joins the Broncos after spending time as the throws coach at Central Methodist University since 2014, where he also pursued a masters of education in sports administration. At CMU he created and implemented year-round practice and strength training regiments for all throwers. With Tracy's help CMU produced two All-Americans, three conference champions, five national qualifiers and 13 all-conference selections.

Tracy received a B.A. in psychological sciences and sociology from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn., in 2014. He received his masters in Dec. 2016 from Central Methodist University in education with an emphasis in sports administration. Tracy also holds an USATF level one Track & Field coaching certification, while also holding certifications from the USTFCCCA in program management, injury management and sports psychology. He also possess certifications in Reflexive Performance Reset levels one and two.Â
