May Mbenoun joined the Western Michigan Cross Country and Track and Field program in August of 2023 after five years as a student-athlete at Nicholls State, Bemidji State and Cloud Community College.Â
During her time in college, Mbenoun posted impressive times and garnered various accolades, including: a NSIC Individual Championship (600m Run), BSU Female Newcomer of the Year Award and two NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors, among other awards.Â
Personal: Born on Sept. 15, 2000, in Cameroon... grew up in France... daughter of Marie-Agnes and Joel Leproux... has two siblings Maeva and Elodie... career ambition is to be secretary general at NATO.
