Reily Galloway Headshot

Reily Galloway

After a five-year playing career at Western Michigan from 2018-22, Reily Galloway returned to the Bronco softball program in July of 2022 to serve as a volunteer assistant coach. The 2023 campaign will mark her first as a part of the WMU staff.

Galloway concluded her playing career at Western Michigan in 2022, posting a 2.79 ERA, 22 complete games, 14 wins, nine shutouts and a single-season program record 267 strikeouts. She also added a .275 batting average, seven doubles, eight home runs and 27 RBIs at the plate on the way to a First Team All-MAC selection. She took home a pair of MAC Pitcher of the Week awards and tossed the fourth perfect game in WMU history against Central Michigan.

A native of LaPorte, Ind., Galloway finished her career at Western Michigan with a total of 445 strikeouts, which ranks as the third-highest career total in program history. In addition to her on-field excellence, she was also a three-time Academic All-MAC selection and an NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete.

Galloway brings a great deal of experience in coaching as well, having participated in numerous WMU softball camps and clinics as both a coach and pitching instructor during her time as a player. After her senior season concluded in May of 2022, she went back to her home state of Indiana and pitched live batting practice to the Notre Dame softball program to help aid in its preparation for the NCAA Regional.
