Fundraising Priority: TrackMan V3 Game Tracking 

TrackMan is the industry standard for in game/practice data and analytics. It is used by every major league club in the US Japan and Korea as well as hundreds of college baseball teams. It can track pitching, hitting and fielding data such as the release point, spin rate, strike zone, exit speed, launch angle and countless other data points that help our coaches and student-athletes understand where their technique needs development and what steps they need to take to become better.

Fundraising Priority: Nutrition and Travel Enhancements

Enhancing the student-athlete experience through nutrition and team travel are a priority to our program to advance Bronco basketball to a championship team. Resources such as nutrition and travel will positively impact our student-athletes daily increasing the  experience at Western Michigan and becoming competitive in the Mid-American Conference. Enhancing nutrition opportunities mproved through team meals, training tables, and pre/post game meals will provide a healthy lifestyle for the student-athletes to compete at the highest level. Travel enhancements  such as chartered flights will provide efficient and effective travel to and from opponents in season in which will allow our student-athletes to recover and be in the classroom.

Women's Basketball is raising funds for CBB Analytics. This cutting-edge software platform offers the most accurate statistics and research available, providing teams with essential insights to elevate their game. From hard-to-find statistics to interactive charts and graphs, this platform adds an additional layer to analysis, ultimately improving game planning and decision-making. Teams across the nation are turning to CBB Analytics to gain a competitive edge, whether it's in scouting opponents, devising game strategies, or making crucial decisions on the court. Our commitment is to continuously innovate and provide an elevate student-athlete experience and aid in competing for championships.

Fundraising Priority: Nutrition Enhancements

The development of our student-athletes is paramount to our success on the football field. One of the most important aspects of developing our student-athletes is to provide them with the best nutritional resources possible. Through generous donations from football alums and Club 66 members, we have been able to increase the number of meals and nutritional supplements provided to our team. Your support is needed on Giving Day to assist in continuing to provide our student-athletes with the best nutrition options possible.

Fundraising Priority: Van for Team Travel

When the golf team needs to travel local for competition, we currently travel by mini vans, most of the time taking more than one, which requires multiple drivers (coaches), and splitting the team up. If the department was to have access to a Sprinter Van it will not only help with overall travel logistics, by will provide more space for our golf clubs ad bags, but it will also vastly improve the student-athlete experience providing for greater comfort during longer road trips.

The women's gymnastics program is raising funds for custom-designed leotards. These unique uniforms not only promote a strong identity for our program but also ensure the proper fit and functionality crucial for our gymnasts to perform with confidence. With each leotard featuring a custom design, we have the opportunity to showcase our creativity and school spirit during competitions, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of our sport. Additionally, the customization options available will accommodate individual preferences and body types, promoting inclusivity and comfort among our student-athletes. By investing in well-designed uniforms, we aim to contribute to the professional image of our team, attract fans, and elevate the overall experience for both our gymnasts and spectators. Fundraising Priority: Catapult Sports Science Technology 

WMU Hockey program continues to raise funds to invest in the Catapult Vector Pro Tracking. This proven piece of technology is designed to optimize performance, mitigate injuries, and support the return to play of our student-athletes . The technology consists of individual devices which measuring heart rates and tracks performance. It also includes a  data analytics suite which will take our training programs to the next level. Having the ability to track and monitor our student-athletes performance through Catapult will be a game changer for our program.

Fundraising Priority: Pro Dressing Room Soccer NL Tactical Board

The Men's Soccer Program would like to purchase two (2) Pro Dressing Room Soccer NL Tactical Boards. One for "The Farm" where the team plays their home game and on for their locker room located inside Seelye Center. This multi-prpose board is, 48" x 96" inches, durable, easy to read and can be customizable with school name and logos.

The women's soccer team would like to take conduct a team bounding retreat to Boyne Mountain during fall camp. This will be an opportunity for the team to train away from campus and other districations, givnig us the chance to focus on our team and building team culture. Monies raised during giving day will help with transportation, lodging, and meals.

The Bronco softball team is looking to raise funds for a preseason tournament in California for the 2025 season! This trip holds special significance as it would be a homecoming for some of our student-athletes who hail from California, providing them with a unique opportunity to showcase their skills in front of their family and friends. The trip package includes airfare, hotel accommodations, and meals, ensuring that our team can focus solely on competing at their best. Additionally, we aim to foster team unity and camaraderie through a memorable bonding experience during our time together.

Fundraising Priority: Golf Cart and Laser Distance Measurement System 

The cross country and track programs are looing to secure two items that would elevate the program. The first is a 6 seater golf cart. We have borrowed one from other sport teams during recruiting visits and it has elevated that experience. We are able to show campus in a more efficient way and I believe it provides a first-class experience for the recruit. The carts have been a huge help shuttling recruits and parents from advising appointments on one end of campus to the other. The second item is a laser measuring system for the long throws events. This will speed up our track meet and make it more efficient hosting other teams. With us having an infield throws venue, we have to adjust the running events and some other field events in order to have a safe competition. A laser measuring system will cut down on a lot of time, allowing for other events to start earlier in the day. This will also help the next time we host the MAC Championship down the road.

Fundraising Priority: Taraflex Floor 

WMU Volleyball will be the first team in the Mid-American Conference to play on a Taraflex floor. Taraflex floor is the official championship court of NCAA DI Volleyball. Having a Taraflex floor makes diving, sliding, and jumping easier on the player's bodies. It helps with training and injury prevention. It will also open up new recruiting opportunities for the program, as having a court like this shows the investment we are making to be the best amongst our peers.

Fundraising Priority: Travel to Away Football Games

The WMU Dance Team performs at all home football games, but we would love to continue our support for the football team at away games. Your gift will help with travel and lodging expenses for away football games during the 2024 season. These opportunities will make lasting memories for our  team members and provide opportunity to showcase our program to a broader audience.
