WMU Athletics - 2021 COVID Attendance Information

Ebert Field
- Spectators who do not abide by these guidelines will be removed from Ebert Field.
- The general public is not permitted to attend.
- Attendance is limited to the families of competing student-athletes and coaches, as well as scouts in compliance with state and county health mandates regarding public events. Scouts wishing to attend should contact the respective member of the athletics communication staff. Ingress/egress information will be communicated via the programs.
- Per Mid-American Conference guidelines, tailgating is not permitted. WMU Public Safety will have officers patrolling campus to enforce this policy. Parking is in the lot adjacent to the field.
- Gates will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.
- WMU Athletics will collect contact information for everyone in attendance to assist in contact tracing (if needed).
- Spectators are required to wear a mask at all times and are only permitted to watch from beyond the outfield fence (the stands behind home plate will be used only to provide socially-distanced team areas). Security will patrol the arena to ensure all spectators are wearing masks. Fans are encourage to bring lawn chairs and or blankets, as there are no bleachers beyond the outfield fence.
- Notify WMU Athletics staff upon entry if you are in need of ADA/accessible seating.
- Concessions are not available.
- At the conclusion of competition, the stadium will be cleared and all spectators should exit the same gate they entered. Spectators are NOT permitted to wait inside the stadium to see student-athletes or coaches.

Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field

- Attendance is limited to the families of competing student-athletes and coaches, as well as scouts in compliance with state and county health mandates regarding public events. Scouts wishing to attend should contact the respective member of the athletics communication staff. Ingress/egress information will be communicated via the programs.

Read Fieldhouse/University Arena
- NOTE: Attendance policies for the 2021 MAC Gymnastics Championships will not permit public admission. Each participating institution has been permitted a limited number of spectators due to the number of competitors present in University Arena.
- Spectators who do not abide by these guidelines will be removed from Read Fieldhouse/University Arena.
- Current guidelines apply to men's basketball, women's basketball, volleyball and gymnastics competitions.
- The general public is not permitted to attend.
- Attendance is limited to families of coaches and student-athletes, as well as scouts in compliance with state and county health mandates regarding public events. Scouts wishing to attend should contact the respective member of the athletics communication staff.
- All spectators for contests Read Fieldhouse should park in Lot 16, directly to the west of the facility. If spectators are parked in another lot, they will be subject to ticketing.

- Spectators are required to wear a mask at all times in Read Fieldhouse and are only permitted in the upper-level seating area of University Arena. Security will patrol the arena to ensure all spectators are wearing masks.
- Socially-distanced seating for spectators will be in sections 210, 211, 212 & 213 (upper arena, across from team benches). All seating will be identified by stickers on benches.
- The only restrooms available to spectators will be below sections 216-218.
- All other areas of Read Fieldhouse & University Arena are off-limits and security will be present to enforce.
- ADA/Accessible seating will be on the track surface between sections 113 and 116. Notify WMU Athletics staff upon entry if you are in need of this seating.

- Spectators who do not abide by these guidelines will be removed from Lawson Ice Arena.
- Current guidelines apply to men's ice hockey competitions.
- The general public is not permitted to attend.
- Attendance is limited to families of coaches and student-athletes, as well as scouts, in compliance with state and county health mandates regarding public events. Scouts wishing to attend should contact the athletics communication staff.
- All spectators for games at Lawson Ice Arena should park in Lot 63, just to the north of the facility. If spectators are parked in another lot, they will be subject to ticketing.
- Tailgating is not permitted. WMU Public Safety will have officers patrolling campus to enforce this policy.
- Gates to Lawson Ice Arena will open 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
- WMU Athletics will collect contact information for everyone in attendance to assist in contact tracing (if needed).
- Spectators are to enter Lawson Ice Arena at the glass doors at the main entrance on the north end of the facility, adjacent to Lot 63.
- Spectators are required to wear a mask at all times in Lawson Ice Arena and are required to enter the seating area in the appropriate marked off sections. Security will patrol the seating area to ensure spectators wear masks at all times.
- Socially-distanced seating for spectators will be in sections 1-7. All seating will be identified with stickers.
- The only restrooms available are those on the arena concourse.
- All other areas of Lawson Ice Arena will be off limits to spectators and security will be present to enforce.
- ADA/Accessible seating will be in section 22. Notify WMU Athletics staff upon entry if you are in need of accessible seating.

West Hills Athletic Club (Indoor Men's & Women's Tennis)
- Spectators will not be permitted at indoor matches this spring.
