2018: Named Academic All-MAC … competed in every meet during her senior campaign on mostly the vault, bars and floor … finished with the team’s fourth highest floor score of the year of 9.825 and fifth highest bars score of 9.825 … led all Bronco gymnasts with her floor exercise of 9.700 to take 27th at the MAC Championships … finished 28th at the conference championship with a 9.725 bars score in her final event with the Brown & Gold … had nine top-five finishes during the season including a season place finish on the uneven bars against Ball State (3/10/18).
2017: Competed in every meet ... posted a career-high on bars with a 9.850 in back-to-back weeks vs. Northern Illinois and at Texas Woman’s ... had a third place finish in the quad meet at TWU ... finished 23rd at the MAC Championships on beam with a 9.775.
2016: Won her first event of the season in the season opener on vault with a 9.750 against UIC ... her first all-around title of the year came against Kent State with a 38.825 ... Hood’s season-high came against Ball State in all-around with a 39.025 where she finished second ... scored a 9.825 on bars at Pac-12 opponent Washington to place third ... the score helped the Broncos to score a 48.950 as a team on bars, the seventh-highest in program history ... won an event against UIC in March, scoring a career-high 9.850 on beam ... followed it up with a 9.850 on floor to place second ... the score on floor was the first of two straight 9.850 as she also did it against Missouri, leading the Broncos to a 49.200 as a team, the highest score in a single event since 2004.
2015: MAC Freshman of the Year, became third Bronco in school history to earn honor ... Second Team All-MAC selection ... named MAC Gymnast of the Week ... led WMU with 14 top 3 finishes, and was an individual winner on five occasions ... scored a season high 39.200 in the all-around against Eastern Michigan, which ranked as the second highest all-around score produced in the MAC this season, and the third highest in WMU history ... competed as an all-arounder in all nine regular season meets and the MAC Championships ... scored a 9.875 in four meets on the vault ... twice had a 9.825 on the balance beam ... set a season-high 9.8 on the bars vs. Northern Illinois (2/1) ... had a 9.850 on the floor against Central Michigan (3/15).
High School/Club: Competed club at Olympia Gymnastics Academy in Shelby Twp., Mich ... has been involved in gymnastics since age three ... qualified to both the level 9 nationals and level 10 nationals twice ... was the level 9 state and regional all-around champion in 2012.
