Men's Tennis Posts Strong Results at Milwaukee Tennis Classic

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team wrapped up play at the 50th annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic over the weekend.

Oscar Corwin, Jack Davison, Drew Evans and Chen-Hui Ho all competed for the Broncos. In singles play, Corwin and Davison both went 3-2. Ho finished 2-3 in five matches, while Evans went 0-3. Corwin's wins came against Pepperdine's Will Steinberg, UIC's Nikola Puntaric and Northern Illinois' Saul Berdulas Calvino. Davison picked up wins against Navy's George Cutone, Notre dame's Nicholas Patrick and Mississippi State's Marshall Landry.  Ho picked up wins against Texas Tech's Ludovico Vaccari and UIC's Mihalo Savic.

In doubles play, Ho and Davison were WMU's most successful pair with duo going 2-2 with wins against NIU's Constantin Radu and Berdullas Calvino. Corwin and Evans paired up, going 1-2 with a win against Northern Illinoi's Pratyaksh LNU and Curzio Manucci.

The Broncos are back in action this weekend at the River Forest Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Northern Illinois.
