CLEVELAND -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team landed six student-athletes on the 2026 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team.
Ashton Adesoro (3.61, Supply Chain Management),
Alex Antonopoulos (3.51, Finance),
Oscar Corwin (3.89, Finance),
Jack Davison (3.92, Business),
Drew Evans (3.81, Sales & Business Marketing), and
Dimitri Moriarty (4.00, Finance) all earned the honors.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests scheduled or completed in the particular sport. First-year students and ANY transfer students in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award. Outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments for the current season only are considered.
Adesoro and Evans both earn the honors for the second time in their careers. Antonopoulos, Corwin, Davison and Moriarty all receive the accolades for their first time. Moriarty was just one of three players in the MAC with a perfect 4.00 GPA.
