Men's Tennis Hosts Buffalo Thursday and Toledo on Saturday

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team continues Mid-American Conference play, hosting Buffalo on Thursday at 12 p.m. and Toledo on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Thursday's match against the Bulls will be outside at Sorensen Courts.

LAST WEEK
The Broncos (10-9, 3-2 MAC) went on the road and earned a 7-0 sweep against Ball State. The win pushed WMU to a tie for third place in the MAC. 

SCOUTING THE BULLS
Buffalo (10-5, 4-1 MAC) sit tied for first place with Northern Illinois. The lone loss for the Bulls came last week at NIU, 4-3. UB rebounded and finished the weekend with a 4-3 win at UIC. 

Theodoros Mitsakos has been Buffalo's No. 1 singles player this season, posting a 6-4 record so far this Spring. Mitsakos and Clement Mainguy  make up the team's No. 1 doubles pair. The duo is 8-1 so far this season.

SCOUTING THE ROCKETS
Toledo (6-11, 1-4 MAC) sits in fifth place with a 1-4 record in MAC play. The Rockets picked up their first win last week on the road at UIC before falling to Northern Illinois. 

DOUBLE DIGITS
Three Broncos have reached double-digit singles wins in dual matches so far this season. Junior Ashton Adesoro and freshman Chen-Hui Ho are tied for the team lead with 11. Sophomore Oscar Corwin sits just behind them with 10. Ten of Adesoro's 11 wins have come at the No. 1 position. Ho is 5-0 at No. 5 and Corwin is 6-0 at No. 4. Both Ho and Corwin are currently on four-match winning streaks. 

ON THE HORIZON
Western Michigan is back in action next Thursday, hosting Ball State at 1 p.m.
