KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team returns home to host Marquette and Ferris State on Friday for a double-header beginning at 10 a.m. and Michigan State on Sunday at 1 p.m. at West Hills Athletic Club.

HOME SWEET HOME
The last time Western Michigan competed at home was back on Jan. 17 against Wayne State. WMU spent then next month playing eight matches on the road, going 3-5. The three victories came against Duquesne, Butler and Omaha.

Western Michigan is 3-0 so far this season at home and went 12-3 last season in dual matches.

SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
Marquette picked up its first win of the season last Wednesday, defeating Illinois State 4-2 at home. It snapped a seven-match losing streak that it started the season with.

Ferris State is 6-1 on the season and has won its last five matches. Five of the wins have come at home, with the Bulldogs going 1-1 on the road.

Michigan State is 0-5 and still searching for its first win of the season. The Spartans recently fell, 4-1, at Vanderbilt.
