KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team wraps up an eight-match road stint at the University of Michigan on Friday at 5 p.m.
The Broncos (6-4) have had nothing but road or neutral site matches since Jan. 17, going 3-4 during the stretch with wins over Duquesne, Butler and Omaha. Last week, Western Michigan dropped a tight match, 4-3, at Purdue and then lost 6-1 against Yale.
Michigan (2-4) picked up its second win of the season last weekend against Tennessee, also falling to No. 12 Columbia. It was their first home matches of the season.
HOME SWEET HOME
Western Michigan returns to West Hills Athletic Club next Friday for a double-header against Marquette and Ferris State, with action starting at 10 a.m. and then 3:30 p.m. The Broncos then welcome Michigan State on Sunday at 1 p.m. Next weekend's action brings an end to WMU's non-conference slate, with the team opening MAC play on Friday, Match 6 at Buffalo.
