MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- The Western Michigan softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader at Central Michigan on Tuesday afternoon.
The Chippewas took the opening game, 13-0, holding the Broncos scoreless on five hits. Senior
Riley Dittmar had two of the hits, going 2-for-3 in the game.
In the second game, Central Michigan downed the Broncos 8-0, with WMU picking up four hits.
Western Michigan returns home to host Buffalo on Saturday for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. The Broncos and the Bulls then square off on Sunday at 12 p.m. Tickets are available at www.wmubroncos.com/tickets.
