KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Western Michigan University Athletics, in collaboration with Bronco Sports Partners and Van Wagner, is proud to announce an official brewing partnership with Paw Paw Brewing, highlighted by the launch of 1903 Gold—a crisp, refreshing pilsner specially crafted and branded for Bronco fans. 

1903 Gold will be introduced in-venue for the first time at the WMU Football home game vs. Central Michigan on Saturday, November 1, and will be served across all athletic venues with alcohol sales moving forward. 

"We are thrilled to bring a Bronco Branded, locally owned and operated craft beer option to Bronco Nation with the release of 1903 Gold," said Vice President and Director of Athletics Dan Bartholomae.  "What makes this release so special is a partnership with one of our own – a WMU Alumnus who competed on the gridiron as a member of our football program.  I can't think of a better way to honor our football alumni, partner with local ownership, and deliver a quality Bronco product to our fanbase.  I hope many of our fans enjoy a 1903 Gold as we take on our rivals this Saturday!" 

Paw Paw Brewing, a Michigan craft brewery with deep regional roots, will serve as the exclusive brewing partner for 1903 Gold.

Following its in-stadium debut, 1903 Gold will also be available at Paw Paw Brewing and retail locations throughout Paw Paw and Kalamazoo, giving Bronco fans the chance to enjoy the beer at home and in their communities.
