CLEVELAND – Western Michigan's Anton Arzhankin, Benjamin George and Peter Kuszynski have been voted to the 2023 All-Mid-American Conference Men's Tennis Team.
For the second-straight season, Arzhankin was voted First Team All-MAC. The Moscow, Russia, native went 10-0 in singles action during conference play and 16-6 overall during the spring. He was 6-4 in doubles in MAC play and 9-8 overall.
For the first time in his career, George was voted First Team All-MAC. The Richmond Hill, Ontario native, played the majority of the season as WMU's No. 1 singles player. George went 5-4 in MAC play and was 11-8 in dual matches overall. He also posted an 11-7 record in doubles.
Kuszynski wraps up his storied career with a Second Team All-MAC selection. The Markham, Ontario played predominantly at No. 3 singles during the season, going 6-4 in MAC play and 12-10 overall. In doubles, he was 5-4 in conference play and 10-8 overall. Kuszynski leaves WMU as the seventh-winningest player in program history with 197 career total wins. He is tied for fifth all-time in singles wins with 105 and also recorded 92 career doubles wins.
