KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team wrapped up the opening day of hosting the 2022 MAC Indoors with two doubles titles on the day.
 
Peter Kusznyski and 
Ferdinand Schlueter took down fellow Broncos 
Fynn Lohse and 
Benjamin George in the championship match of flight one, 8-3. To get there, Schlueter and Kuszynski defeated Pawit Sornnlaksup and Marko Galic from Toledo, 8-4, in the semifinals and Wibler and Macnamara from Buffalo, 8-7 (2), in the opening round.
 
Sophomore Anton Arzhankin and 
Jackson Boone won flight two, defeating their WMU counterparts 
Arjun Honnappa and 
Brogan Pierce, 8-5, in the championship. Arzhankin and Boone defeated Lancaster and Webster from Ball State in the semifinals and opend the day with a firstround win over Meluta and Jankovic from Toledo.
