NORMAL, Ill. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team wrapped up its weekend at the Redbird Invitational hosted by Illinois State on Sunday.
The Broncos won both of their doubles matches on the day.
Fynn Lohse and
Jackson Boone earned an 8-4 win over Central Florida's team of Sanchez and Snyder.
Arjun Honnappa and
Ferdinand Schlueter picked up an 8-1 win over ISU's Isaksson and Cuchran.
Schlueter was the lone Bronco to pick up a win in singles play, defeating Cuchran 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-7). Lohse, Boone and Honnappa each lost in two sets.
Western Michigan now has a week off before heading to the University of Illinois for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Midwest Regionals Oct. 20-24.
