WMU Athletics & adidas Extend Partnership

adidas will remain WMU's footwear and apparel provider through 2027-28.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Western Michigan University Director of Athletics Kathy Beauregard has announced an extension of the department's partnership with adidas, keeping Bronco Athletics in the brand through the 2027-28 academic year.

"adidas has been a tremendous partner for Western Michigan athletics and we're thrilled to continue that relationship for the next seven years," Beauregard said. "Through this extension, adidas has enhanced our ability to support our Bronco student-athletes. We'll continue to provide cutting-edge apparel and footwear to our programs, while also giving our fans outstanding merchandise to choose from when they represent the brown and gold."

With the updated contract, adidas will continue to be the primary provider of footwear, apparel and uniforms for all 16 varsity programs at Western Michigan. The contract will run through May 2028.

In addition, the Bronco football team has received eight bowl invitations, including a New Year's Six invitation to the Cotton Bowl following an undefeated 12-0 regular season and MAC Championship in 2016.
