"I can't say enough about my team today," said head coach
Ryan Tomlinson. "I think when you play so many close matches in such a very even league and you don't come out on top it can play with your mind a little bit. We came out extremely flat in doubles and they took it to us, credit to them for playing well. We responded extremely well in singles. Lindsey, Femke and Ana all got out to 5-2 leads in the first set and it really set the tone for us. I have complete faith in my team as they will continue to fight in these last three matches of the season."
Western Michigan heads back on the road to take on Mid-American Conference leader Ball State on Sunday at 2 p.m.
