NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Western Michigan men's tennis defeated Yale 4-2 in a non-conference match on Sunday to earn its sixth consecutive victory.

The Bulldogs took the first two singles matches to finish on the court to pull ahead of the Broncos by a 2-1 score. Opitz then tied the match at 2-2 with a straight set win against Dylan King (6-4, 6-2). Junior

Rodrigo Crespo closed out the match for WMU with singles victories, with Faveri's 6-3, 6-3 win versus Alan Sou clinching the contest for the Broncos.Â
The Broncos will host NCAA Division II opponent Wayne State on Sunday, March 15.Â
