DEKALB, Ill. - The Western Michigan men's tennis team improved to 5-0 in the Mid-American Conference after a 6-1 win at Northern Illinois University Friday afternoon.Â
The win stands as the second of the season over the Huskies while WMU improves to 13-7 overall.
Western Michigan and NIU traded wins at courts one and two in doubles prior to Haupt and Schnobel winning 7-6 (5) at the No. 3 spot to put the Broncos up 1-0.Â
WMU won five of six singles matches while Nouchi earned the match-clinching point with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Spolidorio at court six.Â
