KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Western Michigan men's tennis team defeated Binghamton University 7-0 Saturday afternoon inside West Hills Athletic Club, improving to 4-0 in the Mid-American Conference.
The Broncos made quick work of the Bearcats in doubles. WMU's No. 2 pair of Jannik Opitz and Kennosuke Nouchi won their seventh consecutive doubles match, while seniors Lenhard Haupt and Nick Schnobel sealed the point with a 6-2 win on court three.
The Brown & Gold won all six singles matches. Nouchi secured the match-clinching point to but WMU up 4-0 with a 6-3, 6-3 win at court six.
