MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Western Michigan men's tennis team improved to 5-5 overall on the year with a 5-2 victory over Wichita State University on Saturday afternoon at the campus of the University of Minnesota.Â
WMU won on courts one and three to secure the doubles point with victories from Opitz & Nouchi and Schnobel & Kuszynski. The Broncos' No. 3 senior/freshman pair of Schnobel and Kuszynski earned their fourth straight win.Â
With the match tied at 2-2, Opitz and Randall won at courts one and four, respectively, to seal the win for the Broncos. Opitz won his fourth straight and improved to 6-1 in 2019.Â
