CHICAGO, Ill. - The Western Michigan men's tennis team hosted a neutral site matchup with Harvard University on Sunday, Feb. 10, falling by a score of 5-2 to drop its overall record to 4-5 in 2019.Â
The Brown & Gold started out with the first doubles win with Schnobel and Kuszynski winning 6-2 at the No. 3 spot. However, the Crimson answered with wins at courts one and two to secure the doubles point.Â
In singles play, Harvard went up 4-0 with victories at six, two, and three to seal the win. WMU seniors Opitz and Svjetlicic earned two points for the Broncos with wins at the No. 1 and No. 4 positions.Â
