COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Western Michigan men's tennis concluded competition at the ITA Kick-Off Weekend with a 4-0 setback versus California on Sunday, Jan. 27, dropping its record to 2-3 overall on the season.
WMU's No. 1 doubles pair of freshman
Peter Kuszynski and
Jack Randall, ranked No. 54 in the nation, defeated Cal's Jacob Brumm and Yuta Kikuchi, who are ranked No. 14 by the ITA. However, the Bears won at the second and third spots to take the doubles point.Â
Cal won at the 4, 5, and 2 singles spots to seal the win.
