Down 3-0 with losses at the No. 5 and 4 singles spots, Western Michigan bounced back with a Nouchi victory at No. 6, winning 6-4, 6-3 over Morgan Lohan. However,
Jack Randall dropped a tough match at the No. 3 position for the home team's match-clinching point. Randall fell 4-6, 6-3, 3-6 to Oliver Okonkwo.
