AKRON, Ohio- The Western Michigan softball team will be the No. 5 seed in the 2015 Mid-American Conference Tournament. The Broncos play No. 4 Central Michigan in the tournament's opening game Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Firestone Stadium in Akron, Ohio.

The Broncos will be looking for their fourth MAC Tournament crown in school history, winning its first under Fran Ebert in 1985 and two titles under current head coach Kathy Leitke in 2003 & 2011.
