Jimmy Beckwith

Jimmy Beckwith was promoted to interim head coach at the beginning of the 2023-24 season after serving as assistant coach for four seasons.

Through his career with the Broncos he has helped the program steadily improve and has seen Lindsey Zieglar establish herself as one of the top singles players in the Mid-American Conference. Beckwith has helped oversee the program's academic success, which included posting WMU's top GPA of any women's sports in the 2022-23 season.

Beckwith, a native of Battle Creek, Mich., joined the Bronco coaching staff for the 2018-19 season as a volunteer assistant. He returned to Western Michigan after graduating in 2016 with a finance degree. As a student-athlete, Beckwith played four years with the men's tennis team, finishing his career with a 125-98 overall record, going 82-51 in singles and 43-47 in doubles play.
