KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Four members of the Western Michigan women's basketball team have been named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District by the organization. 
 
Hannah Spitzley (3.91, exercise science), Abby Voss (3.56, accountancy), Gabi Saxman (3.76, early childhood education), and Lauren Ross (4.00, psychology) all earned the honors for their work in the classroom and on the field during the 2022-23 season.

The 2022 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

All four will be eligible for voting for CSC Academic All-American.
