The Broncos, who are on top of the league with a 3-0 record, are coming off a pair of nonconference victories last Tuesday, March 27 over UIC (7-0) and Wayne State (6-1). Western Michigan enters the match at 16-4 overall and is riding a five-match winning streak. The last time a team went undefeated under head coach Dave Morin was back during the 2015-16 season as the Broncos went 10-0 in Kalamazoo.

Ball State holds a 13-6 overall record and a 2-2 MAC record. The Cardinals currently sit in third overall in the conference with a 59-41 singles record in dual matches and a 36-13 doubles record during the spring.

Junior Matej Svjetlicic leads the Broncos in victories with a 18-2 record this spring. Junior Lenhard Haupt and sophomore Jannik Opitz are tied for the teams second most wins with 13 each.
